The Red Lion is just a short walk from Carsington Water, one of the most picturesque spots in the Peak Park district, with its visitor centre and marina it is fast becoming one of the favourite spots to visit in the area.

We are situated on the edge of the Peak National Park, an area of outstanding beauty and well worth either a walk or drive to visit some of the more well-known sites, such as the Dove Holes or the 'plague village' of Eyam just a few miles up the road, among many famous and popular sites - use the menu on the left to see more.
